About the Artist and Design
 
Jaaz Dyer (@saintjaaz) is a First Nations artist with connections to the Wiradjuri, Noongar, and Wadawurrung peoples, raised on Kabi Kabi Country. Her work is deeply rooted in culture, Country, and spirit.
While much of Jaaz’s art is contemporary, she embraces the privilege of practicing traditional forms when given the opportunity—blending old and new to honor ancestral ways. Her pieces carry meaning beyond color, weaving symbols of identity, ancestry, and land into every design.
When creating, Jaaz often works closely with those she designs for, shaping stories and journeys that speak through art.

The Great Serpent carved rivers through our land, bringing life and connection. Animals gathered along its banks, leaving tracks that tell stories of movement and belonging. People met at sacred places, sharing wisdom and strengthening ties to Country.
